Just a gentle reminder form the twinning committee about  our early October activities. You will be aware that we have the  autumn social evening next Wednesday 3rd October. This time it will be a bring and share buffet followed by a film evening and is being held at the West Hill British Legion starting at 7.30. The cost is £5 to include a glass of wine or soft drink. The film is the classic 'Amilie', a French film ( English subtitles) which comes highly recommended by those who have seen it. For catering purposes could you let me know ( unless you have already done so)if you plan to come and whether you will bring a savoury or sweet plate.

A recent activity which you may have seen advertised is a French Market being held in Ottery on 6th October,9.00 to 4.30pm.This is a follow up of the successful one held in the spring and again it is in the Land of Canaan car park. Last time we had a stall to promote twinning and managed to recruit a few new members. It is important that we take every opportunity to do this. Look forward to seeing you there sometime during the morning, better still if you could sparean hour to assist on our stand.
